10/02/2019
10/02/2019 Ever remembered by his sorrowing father, mother and sister, Salterstown.
10/02/2019 He sleeps away in a foreign land,
10/02/2019 In a hollowed grave unknown,
10/02/2019 But his name is written in letters of gold,
10/02/2019 On the hearts he left at home.
10/02/2019 He fall amidst shot and shell;
10/02/2019 Our only grief, we were not there,
10/02/2019 To take the last farewell.
10/02/2019 For King and country firm he stood,
10/02/2019 Unknown to cowards fears;
10/02/2019 On the plains of France he fought and died,
10/02/2019 With the Ulster Volunteers.
