24/03/2018 There is also a Lance Corporal James McGuckin in Magherafelt War Dead. He was from Ballinderry and served with the 11th Inniskillings.
24/03/2018 Lance Corporal James McGuckin is buried in Caterpillar Valley Cemetery in France.

24/03/2018 By the 20th July the Cameronians were engaged in very heavy fighting in a desperate attempt to take High Wood and Delville Wood. 107 men of the Battalion were killed, including James McGuckin.
24/03/2018 Lance Corporal James McGuckin was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) when he was killed in action on Thursday 20th July 1916.
