Summary
James Treanor was born in Clogher, County Tyrone. The family later moved to live in Pomeroy. James enlisted in Portadown, where he joined the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers. In 1917 he was serving in the Middle East, and was killed in action there on 7th November 1917. At roll call later that day, twenty men were found to be either killed or missing.

In the event of my death, I give the £9 to my sister Maggie Treanor, Tymas?, Augher, Co Tyrone. Ireland.
