Summary      
James Moran was born in Desertmartin and lived in Bracanaslea, County Londonderry. He enlisted in Cookstown with the Royal Irish Regiment and served as Private 29829 before transferring to the 182nd Battalion Labour Corps. Private James Moran died of wounds, age 35, on 20th November 1917 and is buried in grave 4-A-25 at St Hilaire Cemetery, Frevent, France.
