From the Mid Ulster Mail dated 31st October 1914: School Role of Honour - Oldtown Boys School, Cookstown
|
|
While the great public schools are publishing lists of old pupils serving their country, our primary schools, who provide the rank and file, ought not to be ignored. Mr George Ramsay, the principal of Oldtown Boys School, Cookstown, has supplied us with the names of the boys who left his school since May 1893, and are serving their country – a grand total of thirty-two boys.
