06/04/2018 Patrick Monaghan was the second son of Charles and Rose Monaghan. Charles Monaghan and Rose Ann McClenaghan were married about 1886.
06/04/2018 Last Will and Testament of Private Patrick H J Monaghan dated 26th August 1916:
06/04/2018 Private Patrick Monaghan’s condition gradually deteriorated and he died of his wounds on the Monday 9th October 1916.
06/04/2018 Private Patrick Monaghan was serving with the Machine Gun Section in the 8th Battalion of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers in early October 1916 when Patrick was seriously wounded and taken to one of the Casualty Clearing Stations situated at Bailleul.
