Albert Edward McCluskey was born in Stewartstown, County Tyrone. Prior to enlisting, Albert was living and working in Winsford, Cheshire. Albert was a guard on Manchester Corporation Tramways. Private Albert McCluskey was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Manchester Regiment when he died in France of wounds received during the Battle of Mons on Wednesday 26th August 1914.
