Summary      
Thomas Dixon Liddle was born on 23rd January 1879 and was the son of Edward and Eliza Liddle of Cookstown. Thomas’ father was also a doctor. Thomas passed his surgical exams on 23rd November 1903 and immediately joined the Admiralty. Over the years he worked on many different ships and had at least two spells in Haslar Hospital. His last ship was H.M.S. Thames. When he died on 2nd April 1915 there were extenuating circumstances which called for a post mortem to be held.
