Robert Reid was born Plumstead in Kent, but lived for a time at Drumgornal, Stewartstown; County Tyrone. He was living in East Ham before he enlisted with the Royal Fusiliers in East Ham, Essex. He later transferred to the Labour Corps and died of wounds on the 12th December 1917.
