Summary      
Michael McWilliams was the son of John and Maggie McWilliams. Michael was born in Cookstown about 1894.The 1901 census records the family living at Clagan, Lisson Upper, Londonderry. John McWilliams worked as a labourer. Michael enlisted with the 7th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers in Cookstown. Private Michael McWilliams was one of those killed on the 9th September 1916, aged about 22.
